James D. “Jim” Maltby passed away in late 2024 at the age of 93. He was an original member of the Iowa Military Veteran’s Band. According to members who knew him, he was “a talented clarinetist and a fine gentleman”. His family requested any memorial donations be made to the Iowa Military Veteran’s Band in his honor.

The Iowa Military Veterans Band is a 501(c) 3 charitable organization and is dependent on the generosity of Iowa businesses and patriotic individuals to operate. We appreciate all donations!
